I made a connection today that had previously evaded my consciousness: My birthday month is the same as the U. S.'s National Poetry Month. In honor of my recognition, I'm going to honor my self by attempting to write a poem a day. Even as I write these words, I'm laughing to myself--sometimes it takes me a year to write one poem--because I'm making a promise to write
